On December 13, 1980, the body of an unidentified male was located in the Angeles National Forest off Sand Canyon Road, South of mile marker 7-1, in Newhall, California. It is believed he had been deceased for approximately 24 hours prior to discovery. He is believed to have ancestral roots in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and may have come through Mexico. He had dark brown, curly, collar-length hair. He had a pronounced upper right incisor tooth and a 1-inch scar on his inner right elbow. Pictured are personal items from the young man. The shirt was “foxy” brand and the boots size 9-1/2D. His image is a facial reconstruction produced by a NCMEC forensic artist which intends to depict what he looked like in life.
