On 12/16/1961, an unidentified White female was discovered in a ditch off rural highway Route 715, 1.5 miles Southwest of Hillsboro. She is believed to have been placed in this location during the early morning hours, the day she was recovered. The female is believed to be between 15 and 18 years old, stood approximately 5’1” tall, and weighed 95 pounds. She had short, brown, and slightly curly hair and brown eyes. She was located wearing a navy-blue cotton t-shirt with an elastic neck and sleeve ends with the label of “Jamie” in the neck band, turquoise blue corduroy pedal-pusher pants with black and white leopard print designs on the lateral seems and cuffs, a hip length herring-bone white coat, and under garments. Displayed is a facial reconstruction created by a NCMEC Forensic Artist which depicts what the female may have looked like in life.
