NetSmartz® Workshop is a program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® that creates interactive, educational safety resources for children ages 5 to 17. Through age-appropriate activities, games, videos and safety presentations, NetSmartz prepares children to behave responsibly when confronted with issues such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, online exploitation, revealing too much information, sexting and scams.
In addition to empowering children to make safer decisions when online, NetSmartz also helps families, educators and law enforcement officials to educate children about Internet safety. The entire collection of free NetSmartz resources can be found at NetSmartz.org.
To introduce younger children, ages 5 to 10, to basic Internet safety concepts through interactions with our 3-D animated characters Clicky, Nettie and Webster visit NetSmartzKids.org.
To engage tweens, ages 8 to 12, and teens ages 13 to 17 on issues such as cyberbullying and sharing too much information, cell phones and social networking sites, visit NSTeens.org.
