The Florida office provides child protection education and prevention programs. In this role the Florida office raises public awareness about missing and sexually exploited child issues and Internet safety. The office also provides technical assistance to the public, law enforcement, schools and others.

The Florida office develops new materials for corporate partners and facilitates the delivery of various trainings, programs and materials to raise awareness about and help prevent the victimization of children. This includes implementing the NetSmartz® Workshop in schools and communities throughout the state.

Case management services

The Florida office also supports NCMEC's mission by providing assistance to families, law enforcement, and other professionals concerning missing and exploited children cases.

National Emergency Child Locator Center

The National Emergency Child Locator Center is housed in the Florida regional office.
