Join in the fight against abduction, abuse, and exploitation
– because every child deserves a safe childhood.

Since 1984, NCMEC has been on the forefront of child protection, but there is still a lot of work to do.
Please join in this critical mission.

Our Impact:

Find. Reduce. Prevent.

NCMEC’s mission is to find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. During the last 35 years, NCMEC has circulated billions of photos and has assisted law enforcement in the recovery of more than 311,000 children. Additionally, the Child Victim Identification program, which helps to locate and rescue child victims in abusive images, has identified more than 17,900 child victims. This important work is aided through the support of corporate partners.

Through technical expertise, in-kind donations, and financial support corporations are helping NCMEC to keep kids safe.

“Through our joint effort with NCMEC and the U.S. Postal Service, we are dedicated to locating missing children and raising public awareness on the issue of missing and exploited children. We also hope that through regular education and awareness, we can help prevent future abductions and exploitation – and therefore urge parents to review safety precautions with their families .”
- Victor Nichols, CEO of Valassis

More than 92% of every dollar we raise goes directly to support our programs and services.

"Since the beginning, Ring has invented products and services that drive toward our mission to help make neighborhoods safer. Our team is proud to leverage that work in support of NCMEC's efforts to bring missing children home. Together, we will reach millions of engaged neighbors who are just as passionate as we are about helping their communities and keeping families safe."
- Jamie Siminoff, CEO and Chief Inventor of Ring

Taking the Child Exploitation Fight to the Cloud

Today, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children announced that a recent donation of compute services is expected to have what NCMEC is calling, a “massive impact” on its fight against child sexual exploitation. The donation of Google Cloud Platform technologies will increase NCMEC’s ability to process and analyze the millions of child sexual abuse images reported to its CyberTipline every year, with a goal of helping law enforcement identify and rescue more child victims.
